Hi! I'm Evelyn. I was a software support technician for over 9 years and turns out I have a passion for problem-solving and helping others.
I enjoy pondering over a problem that spurs my thinking and composing an effective solution. It amazes me how something simple can be so complex and vice-versa.
Driven by curiosity, I entered software development and was blown away. It is a splendid playground to break down an idea, build something cool, and see the result almost immediately. And guess what, I get to do it all over again.
Currently, my focus is in web applications.
I have a BS in Computer Science from Western Governors University, a Certificate of Software Engineering Immersive from Hack Reactor, and a Certificate in CompTIA Project+.
User experience, product impressions, and smooth functionalities matter to me. I take the time to design and create visual assets to customize frontend impressions. I consider the whats and hows that makes the most sense. On the backend, I actualize the business logic, build Restful APIs, and structure the database with security and optimization in mind.
I've also taken an interest in AI and 3D graphics and happiest when I get my hands dirty in my digital playground. For this website, I used Blender to create 3D models and WebGL for GPU accelerated rendering.When I'm not coding, I delight in cuddling with my dachshunds and learning the craft of acting.
